Trend of high Rise and Development in Twin Cities: United Nations predicts that the world’s urban population will rise from 3.6 billion to 6.3 billion between now and 2050. The important thing about this policy is that government started to implement this policy in the form of New Blue Area project in which high rise buildings and plazas will be formed. Government is expecting to generate 30 billion rupees from this project which will be later on used for making more housing schemes for low income people like middle and lower middle class.

Developmental projects in twin cities initiated by this government is a step to improve the livelihood of people and to develop the capital with a twin city of Rawalpindi. These developmental projects include the development of ring road Rawalpindi, Ring road Islamabad, Sahala Railway gate flyover and most important than all is the construction of high rise buildings.

These developments not only boost the country economically but it has many other important aspects to be considered which increase the liability of high rise building projects in twin cities and generally in Pakistan. Pakistan is 5^th most populous country in the world with a population of 220.1 million we have to adjust this population in a better way and concept of high rise building is a good option to accommodate many people by giving all the necessary facilities under a single roof. It is time saving, space saving as well as money saving. Moreover, with increasing human activities and their spread on earth, pollution and environmental hazards also increases. High rise buildings are environmental friendly in a way that they decrease the space for human pollution. Islamabad is world most beautiful capital due to its lush greenery and captivating scenery construction of high rise buildings preserve that green environment people will not cut the trees to make new houses but they will make their houses vertically to save the forests, earth and environment. These high rise buildings are made with earthquake resisting structure so it decreases the possibility of damage in any unfortunate situation.
